Stamped Note Cubes

Today I am attending the Stampin' Up! Regional in Tacoma, WA! I have really been looking forward to this day of stamping, demonstrations, idea boards, prizes, and fun Stampin' Up! style. My Upline, Becky; Downline, Shelley; and Guests, Cathy & Joan are here too and I brought along a gift for each of them...

I stamped the Bordering on Romance images on the plain white 3"x3"x3" cubes with Black Stazon ink and used a blender pen to color the Lucky Limeade leaves and Tempting Turquoise flowers. The small flowers are colored with the Regal Rose marvelous marker and the flower centers are Daffodil Delight. A 3.25"x1" strip of Tempting Turquoise DSP rolled and placed inside a RSVP pen completes the set.

I did try to use the Everything Elenor set and found that because some sides of my cubes are very smooth and others are not the line images of Bordering on Romance stamped cleaner and coloring with the blender pen worked very well.

What will you stamp on next? Leave me a comment with your ideas!

Ornament Keepsakes

I knew that there would be some downtime yesterday as Erica and friends were creating their large ornament so I had supplies ready for them to make 2 of this card while they waited for their turn at the Big Shot...

A couple of them only stamped 1 Joy on the 1" strip of Lucky Limeade and added other stamps from the Joyous Celebrations stamp set but another learned how to use the Stamp-a-ma-jig she already has at home and discovered she loves it! Do you have tools at home you aren't yet comfortable using? Give me a call so I can teach you!

Holiday Catalog Cover Ornament

I did it! Today, I completed the ornament shown on the front cover of the Holiday Catalog. My thanks to the several demonstrators who have posted videos with great tips to make this beautiful creation.

I used Whisper White cardstock (the original is Very Vanilla), Real Red & Lucky Limeade ink, the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and coordinating Holiday Ornaments Framelits Dies, Cherry Cobbler Scalloped Tulle Ribbon, Candlelight Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper, Designer Vintage Faceted buttons, Large Basic Pearl Jewels, Linen Thread, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and the Big Shot.

That is quite a list, isn't it? Erica and her friends have scheduled a private class with me next week so they can each make one of these ornaments themselves. Want to make one? Give me a call and we can schedule a class at your house!
