Inspire, Create, Share 2014!

What a great week! Here are some convention highlights for you.

After our Inking Everything Team meeting on Wednesday we walked over to the Convention Center to pick up our name badges, bag of goodies (stamps and make & take supplies!) and attended the Paper Pumpkin Party.

Krista & Nichole are putting together the Paper Pumpkin make & take
Shelley is giving you a sneak-peek at the September Paper Pumpkin Kit
Thursday morning my Friends, Ink Team is ready for the Opening Session with nearly 4000 demonstrators from the US & Canada!
There were several of these boards displaying our
beautiful catalog items
And samples from the upcoming Holiday Catalog for us to
ooh & aah over (see the pretty paper?)
 So pretty!
Did you miss out on the Endless Wishes Photopolymer set when it was released last season? IT'S COMING BACK!!
Thursday, Friday and Saturday were spent stamping, attending workshops and general sessions, trying out some of the new products, partying (Nichole braved the mechanical bull during the Awards Night After Party), being inspired by the beautiful product displays & demonstrations, and shopping (They let us buy some of the Holiday Catalog items and bring them home!)

Stampin' Up! Work of Art with Petite Petals

I am so excited to be at the Stampin' Up! North America Convention this week! I arrived yesterday in time to take part in a focus group (so fun and interesting) and then attend the Inking Everything Team Get-Together. We are a team spread out across the United States and while we connect online often, it is a blast to see each other to stamp, swap and share. This is the card front I designed and brought along for the swap.

I told you I am in love with the New Blackberry Bliss In-color! Here I paired it with Hello Honey. Since I needed to make more card fronts than I had Designer Series Paper I stamped my own using the circle stamp from the Work of Art set. Just For & You are also from that set and the pretty little flowers are from the Petite Petals set.
You may recognize this card layout. I used it Here for one of my all-time favorite cards.

I will post pictures of some of the swap cards I received in a future post. If you are interested in up-to-the-minute updates from convention visit my Facebook Page this week.

Stampin' Up! Work of Art

Wondering what you do with a bunch of swooshes, large & small? I have been having so much fun with the Work of Art stamp set.
In class tonight we are using these swooshes to create three flower cards.

Aren't they fun cards? I love how they are simple but beautiful! I must thank the demonstrators who posted pictures of their creations online for my inspiration.

Blackberry Bliss

I will just say it. I LOVE the new In-Color Blackberry Bliss! This is one of the cards we made in classes in June. Isn't it just yummy?

This flower in the Stippled Blossoms set works so well as a background stamp. Just stamp randomly around the cardstock. You don't even need to be very careful - overlapping the image still looks great!

Party Pinwheels!

We enjoyed a fun family 4th and a long weekend at the beach. I was happy to take the June Paper Pumpkin Kit along to use as our table decorations. My kids, husband, cousin, and niece all jumped in to help assemble them.

It was a beautiful day in Gig Harbor, WA with Mt. Rainier as our backdrop.

A plastic glass filled with sand from the beach and our pinwheels made the perfect centerpieces.

Do you wish you had subscribed to Paper Pumpkin in time to receive the Pinwheel Kit? Guess what? It's not too late! Subscribe by July 10th to receive the July Kit and you can order select past kits and refill kits as well! Paper Pumpkin info!
