Four Frames Peek #4

Well, here it is, the 4th and final card in this particular series. I am sure you will see these frame stamps in many future posts.
This card is my version one of the samples provided by Stampin' Up! I have used the Elegant Lines embossing folder on the Marina Mist card stock by running it through the Big Shot. A piece of the Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper is trimmed with River Rock card stock punched with the Scallop Trim Border punch. The Four Frames stamp with the lovely flowers on it was stamped on Rich Razzleberry card stock and punched with the Decorative Label punch. The hello sentiment was stamped with a Tiny Tags stamp and punched with the Jewelry Tag punch. A few punches using the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and 1/2" & 3/4" Circle punches are attached with a brad.

Four Frames Peek #3

I told you there is some gorgeous paper in the Paisley Petals Designer Series paper pack! These papers coordinate with Tangerine Tango & Pear Pizzazz card stock and Baja Breeze seam binding ribbon to make this card. This Four Frames stamp is an elegant image and like the other 3 stamps in the set is designed to be used with the Decorative Label punch.

Four Frames Peek #2

I have 4 cards made using this new stamp set and Designer Series Paper and I really meant to post one-a-day over the weekend. If anyone out there actually came back to look (anybody there????) I got busy with the family. It is wonderful to have our oldest home from across the state for spring break. We haven't seen him since he went back to school after Christmas break. So, here it is - card #2...
This Designer Series Paper - Paisley Petals is just beautiful! I have paired it with Marina Mist and Rich Razzleberry card stock for this card. I photographed the card on top of another piece of 12" x 12" paper from this pack for an additional peak. The Four Frames stamp set coordinates with the Decorative Label punch and this one with the little bird leaves plenty of room for your sentiment. The card is finished off with a Rich Razzleberry mat and Victoria 5/8" Crochet Trim.
The Four Frames stamp set and Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper will be in the 2011-2012 Idea Book and Catalog available on July 1, 2011 but Stampin' Up! is giving everyone an opportunity to purchase or receive FREE these items during the month of April!!! Of course, if you were an Independent Demonstrator like me you could have had it in your hands in March :) If you have read this far won't you PLEASE leave me a comment so I know someone is actually reading these ramblings. Thanks so much for visiting!

Sneak Peek at 2011-2012 Catalog Items

Over the next few days I will be showing you samples made using the Four Frames Stamp Set and Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper. These brand new items will be available on July 1st in the 2022-2012 Idea Book & Catalog but Stampin' Up! will also have a special offer during the month of April for you to be able to buy these or even receive them FREE! If you own the Decorative Label punch from the Occasions Mini Catalog you are going to love this coordinating stamp set. If you don't already have it... you are going to want it!
Isn't this paper lovely? (Remember - you can usually click on a photo to enlarge it on your screen.) I have used Baja Breeze card stock, ink and ribbon on this sample. I learned the technique for layering 3 decorative label punches behind the sentiment stamp from sister stamper Sandi MacIver (scroll down a bit)

Inlaid Embossing Technique

Have you seen this fun technique? It is called Inlaid Embossing and can be done in a couple of different ways. On the circle card I punched several sizes of circles in bright, fun colors, glued them in place on the whisper white card stock and then ran the whole thing through the Big Shot in the Square Lattice Textured Impressions folder. The result is a quilted effect and the individual circles look like they were printed on the white background. Very cool! For the flowered card I stamped the background flowers and stem on the white card stock before using the same Square Lattice folder and the Big Shot for a pretty fabric look...
Circles were punched from Pacific Point, Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, and Regal Rose card stock to make this fun Birthday Card. Happy Birthday Wishes was stamped in Pacific Point ink, punched with the Modern Label punch, and adhered to the card with Tempting Turquoise brads.
I love how this card turned out and the ladies at Chrystal's workshop last weekend had a wonderful time recreating it and taking their own home with them. The colors used here were Melon Mambo ink for the flowers with accents of Pear Pizzazz. The Build a Blossom stamp set and coordinating Blossom Petals punch were also used.

Easter Blossoms set

These three cards were all made with the Easter Blossoms stamp set and the beautiful Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper available through April 30, 2011 in the Occasions Mini Catalog. I have added some coordinating Rose Red, Pear Pizzazz, Early Espresso and Very Vanilla card stock, Crumb Cake 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon, and Pearl accents to make this set.
The Tulip Frame embossing folder is perfect to use with this blossom branch image stamped in Early Espresso and colored with Rose Red using a blender pen.

The Top Note die creates a frame for this image. Crumb Cake ink was used to stamp the background on Very Vanilla card stock.

This cutie was stamped in Crumb Cake to create a soft image. The branch stamp was used again as a background stamp.
