Stocking Punch ALERT & Great Punch Deals!

Stampin' Up! has announced to Demonstrators that the Stocking Builder Punch available in the Holiday Mini Catalog will not be included in future catalogs. That means - when they are gone, they're really gone. I love this punch and have used it, along with the Stitched Stockings stamp set to create many tags and cards featuring not only Christmas Stockings but baby booties and stick horses too. Don't miss your chance to own this punch!

Speaking of punches... have you visited the Clearance Rack this week? Many "old style", but current punch shape, items have been added for a limited time only. Tell Santa you have been good this year and get on over HERE to place your online order before January 5th. Here is a sample of items you may need in the near future...

Playing with New Toys

Are you ready to take a break from Christmas preparations and see some of what is new? Today, I have been playing with the Take It To Heart stamp set, fun Riding Hood Red Ruffled Ribbon, the new Large Paper Doily Sizzlets Die, Heart Framelits Dies, Blushing Bride Smooch Spray and Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details...

There are 6 Framelits Dies in the Hearts Collection, 2 are larger than the one I used here and 3 are smaller. The Designer Series Paper in the background (both on the card & behind it) are part of the new Twitterpated package. This is the largest stamp in the Take It to Heart set and is perfect for coloring.

This is another fun stamp from the Take It to Heart set. I love the way the ruffled ribbon makes it "pop" and the Cherry Cobbler dazzling details adds a fun touch. The large Paper Doily sizzlet was cut from Blushing Bride cardstock and the new Blushing Bride smooch spray makes it shimmer. The sentiment continues inside with "...begin with you!" and is one of nine sets in the Petite Pairs stamp set.

Teacher Gifts

I have been busy playing with new toys (more on that in a few days) and making these Christmas gifts for Toni's teachers. I cut my base cardstock at 4.25" x 5.5" adhered a piece of 4" x 5.25" Designer Series Paper (DSP), rounding the corners of both and embellished. The calendar pieces are about 1.75" x 2.25". Some are sponged around the edges and others are corner rounded. You can make your own calendar using My Digital Studio or use the one found at the end of this post
I love this Spice Cake DSP. If you love it too, be sure to order some before the Holiday Mini Catalog sales period ends on January 3rd!

I think the Just Add Cake DSP is a perfect match for a teacher.

Here is a close-up

This set is done using the Paisley Petals DSP

The Mocha Morning Specialty DSP is simply yummy!

Don't you think?

Deck the Halls

I love all the Christmas traditions including decorating our home. This year I have made several ornaments & tags while working with my Simply Scored, Christmas stamp sets and punches so I decided to place them on our lighted tabletop tree.
The star topper is made following the instructions found here

The lacy ornament is made by scoring a 11" strip of Whisper White every 1/8" before punching it with the Lace Ribbon Border punch. Accordion fold the delicate strip and connect the two end together with Sticky Strip. Create the rosette by pressing down the center and gluing it to a 1" circle on the back. The center front is punched from the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch. I sprayed the ornament with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz before adding the Pearl accent center.

To order your own Simply Scored, punches, holiday stamp sets, Designer Series Paper or any of the embellishments seen here contact me or click on the "Order Stampin' Up! Online" button to the left. Happy crafting!!!
