Snow Day Fun!

In Western Washington a normal snow event leaves us with a few inches of the fluffy white stuff that melts in a day or two. We went to bed on Sunday with that inch of snow but woke Monday Morning to 6-7 inches on Hat Island and more on the mainland. We enjoyed an extra 2 days on the island with school cancellations. The big news is that it has stayed with us and Friday night another 4-8 inches is expected! I say "Bring it on!"

Toni & I worked on our January Paper Pumpkin kit.

The kit included 24 reversible pillow boxes ~ enough for her whole classroom plus the teacher!

Aren't those kangaroos just the sweetest? The fun didn't stop there. The kit contained 24 kangaroos & Pool Party circles AND 24 chameleons and Pool Party hearts... we also made Valentines for Isaac's classmates!

We filled cello treat bags and made cute toppers. I don't know when I have ever had Valentines completed for 2 classrooms a full 10 days early before!!! Yay for Paper Pumpkin and a snow day!
