August Paper Pumpkin - Pedal Praise

And here it is... Pedal Praise!

This first card was made following the sample included with the kit and then I switched things up...

Don't you love the Bicycle and Pennant 'thank you' stamps? The colors in this kit are Burmuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Baked Brown Sugar and Raspberry Ripple. Yummy!

I cut one card base in half and attached the two pieces to Raspberry Ripple and Baked Brown Sugar cardstock card bases and used one other card base to make the two candy holders.

Aren't they cute? They are not my original idea. Becky Roberts had those who were able to attend her downline meeting make a Halloween version and Penny Smiley went home and made the Pedal Praise one.

Expression Thinlits Dies

The Expression Thinlits Dies are a new addition to the Big Shot lineup and are available in the Holiday Catalog. The set comes with the words thankful, merry and love. We used a 2-way glue pen to attach thankful to this card in class this week.

A little cardstock, Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper, Baker's Twine and Candy Dots are all you need to create this card.

Here is a video showing all 3 Expression Thinlits and some very useful tips on running them through the Big Shot.

8 NEW Single Stamps for Christmas

I have to admit my brain is beginning to think Christmas Cards. I know, we are having the best warm, dry summer in many years and I am enjoying the sunshine - but...

Click here to see the new Holiday Stamp Collection available now through January from Stampin' Up! These are 3 of my favorites.

These are single, clear-mount stamps priced $4.95 - $9.95 and will come to you packaged in cello bags. I love that most of this collection coordinates with a framelit or punch making them so easy to use as tags or layers on a card.

Not quite ready for Christmas? Here is one of the cards we made in class yesterday. It was inspired by a card I saw online by Demonstrator Terry Bolender and uses the new Circle Card Thinlits.

Stamps: Magnificent Maple, Gorgeous Grundge, Seasonal Sayings
Ink: Gold Metallic Encore Pad, Chocolate Chip & Crushed Curry Classic Pads
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla Cardstock, Gold Foil Sheets and Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper

Label Card Thinlits #133479

Circle Card Thinlits #133480

Just look at all the thinlits you get in these sets! It is so much fun to make cards that flip and surprise. You can see more details and watch a video here.

Happy Stamping!

I love my job! I have already shared that one of the best parts of Convention a few weeks ago was the time spent with other demonstrators. I especially love to see friends from around the country I have met before and those I had only known online until now. So fun! These are just a few of the cards members of the Inking Everything Team have shared with me...

July Paper Pumpkin - Party Pennants

This was the perfect kit to have arrive last week. I made one set to use on my husband and daughter's birthday cake (they share the day) and then created 3 cards with the rest of the supplies.

The kit came with Pool Party and Summer Starfruit Ink so I stayed with that color combination just adding Cherry Cobbler, Basic Gray & Island Indigo Ink and some stamps from past kits.

Gorgeous Grunge?

Aren't they beautiful? I was surprised to receive them last week from a lovely group of ladies I am happy to call friends as well as customers. They also showered me with belated birthday cards and  a cake when we got together for their monthly card class. So sweet!

These are the thank you cards I made for them...

Not my usual style, you say? I agree but once I made the following card, which was a Take & Make from Convention, I decided to keep going with the theme. I rather like them. What do you think?

Stamp Sets: Gorgeous Grunge, Flower Shop, Lots of Thanks, and Hello, Lovely
Ink: Bermuda Bay, Summer Starfruit, Crisp Cantaloupe, Coastal Cabana

Tomorrow is the last day to take advantage of the Buy 3 Get 1 FREE Designer Series Paper offer. Take a look on pages 151, 153, and 154 of the Annual Catalog or Shop Here to choose your paper!
Believe me, you are going to want it later when we use it in class... evil laugh :)

Undefined--Stamp Carving Kit

Have you ever looked and looked for a certain image on a stamp? Now you can carve it yourself!

I just returned home from the very fabulous 25th Anniversary Stampin' Up! Convention where I got to try it. My sister & downline, Shelley Fabens, and I traveled together and when we joined the line to play with this new product we expected to stand and visit with other demonstrators for quite some time. We were very surprised to be approached by a very special staff member who handed each of us a V.I.P. Move to the Head of the Line Pass!!! She proceeded to escort us directly to the carving stations.
