This journal measures 6-3/8" x 8-1/16" and has a debossed chipboard cover for you to decorate or leave as-is and 60 total printed pages (30 coordinated spreads). I think one of the the things I love most is the Rotary Stamp. Remember the old date stamps the librarian used to stamp your checkout card with? This is like that but also has 12 cleaver and useful phrases. Turn the dial to change the phrase and date. Love it! The Designer Washi Tape comes in three designs - 3/8", 1/2" & 5/8" - all for just $4.95. Use it to attach ticket stubs, design ideas, recipes or anything else to a page in your journal. See everything and order here

Edited to add: Stampin' Up! is giving away a trip for 2 to San Diego! There is nothing like a trip with Stampin' Up! and you could join Demonstrators who are working hard this year to earn this 3 night stay at the luxurious US Grant Hotel September 12-15. My link to enter is http://bit.ly/10vmgCp How many entries can we get?

Love fabric? Look at this...
Seamstress or not--you'll love using our high quality Designer Fabric--especially at 50 percent off! One week only!
Our Designer Fabric is designed to coordinate with Stampin' Up! inks, paper, and other accessories, and is perfect for adding a stylish touch to traditional paper projects. Available in an extra-wide fat quarters (18" x 26"). Use it for quilting, clothing, home décor, and more!

And finally,
Yesterday my little guy had his 5th birthday. We celebrated with a party at an indoor bouncy house place. It was a blast and I just have to show you what my husband (he was a big help since we needed 20!) and I made to give the kids as a thank you for coming.
Isaac wanted a dinosaur theme and I saw this fantastic idea on Pinterest. We started with 5" balloons and paper-mached them with none other than the brown paper packing that comes in the Stampin' Up! orders. A large enough opening was left at one end so that after the balloon was popped, I could fill the dinosaur egg with goodies for the kids. Then I added more paper-mache to close it up.
The kids each took an egg home to crack open and reveal their gift.
Here is my little dinosaur :)

Thank you for sticking around to the end of this long post.
Happy Stamping!

Paper Pumpkin Welcome Kit

Did you receive the 1st Paper Pumpkin Kit in the mail this week? I did and what fun to open a box that included everything - paper, ink, stamps, acrylic block, buttons, sticker embellishments, and envelopes to make 4 complete cards. This is the Welcome Kit and if you sign up before April 10th it will be shipped out to you on April 15th. Paper Pumpkin is a monthly subscription service and once you have received the Welcome Kit all future kits will be a surprise! I would be happy to help you sign-up so you can join the fun.
I followed the enclosed instructions to complete the first card. I did add a knot of baker's twine to the button (something about a naked button bugs me) but other than that only the kit contents were used.
Here I turned the card horizontal, moved around the elements and stamped the splotches 3 times.
Back to a vertical card and different placement of the elements and splotches.
For the final card I cut the card layer and added some So Saffron and Lucky Limeade cardstock squares.

The Paper Pumpkin kits are perfect for anyone who is just starting out with stamping and may not have a well-stocked craft room (yet) or someone with limited time and space but still wants to create one-of-a-kind cards and gifts. You can create each kit in about 30 minutes as instructed or spend a little more time and change things up. Join Paper Pumpkin and check back here for more ideas each time you receive a kit.

Happy Stamping!

NEW! Clear Photopolymer Stamps from Stampin' Up!

Stampin' Up! has searched long and hard for just the right material to be able to introduce completely clear stamping. And we've found it. We're excited to announce that we now have wood-mount, clear-mount AND photopolymer stamps! The new photopolymer will be an addition to our stamp line and will appeal to all types of stampers. Our top-quality photopolymer has just enough give to create a perfectly stamped image every time and with the introduction of our firm-foam pads, let's just say they're meant for each other! Photopolymer stamps will also be unique, fun designs that will inspire you and provide more versatile options you may not see in our traditional wood- and clear-mount stamp options.

I am excited to know Stampin' Up has done their research and brought us the best clear photopolymer stamps on the market today.

What makes them so great?

  • They're entirely transparent for perfect placement every time!
  • They are durable. The photopolymer material is designed to last.
  • They are just flexible enough to curve that arrow or banner just the way you want it!
  • These stamps stick amazingly well to our clear blocks.
  • They're age tested. They won't yellow or cloud up over time.
  • They use FDA, food-safe material. How far can you stretch your stamping creativity?
  • They're super inexpensive! Our debut set, Designer Typeset has 57 images for just $13.95 and here it is...TaDa!

These great samples are from Stampin' Up!

Contact me or shop online to place your order today and try the new Designer Typeset Photopolymer Stamp Set (#132956)!

Good to Know:
  • Photopolymer stamps will be offered on a trial basis. If you see a set you love, please order it right away as it may not be available tomorrow. Based on popularity, we hope to release more photopolymer stamp sets over the coming months.
  • Available on all order types.
  • Not available in wood-mount or clear-mount.
  • All photopolymer will be packaged in cello bag w/insert, but don't forget you can store them in our clear cases.
