I have had this 18" paper mache tree form for almost a year now and when I saw the Presents and Pinecones Designer Series Paper I finally decided what I wanted to do with it. See below to get a special deal on this paper!
I started by cutting six 1"x12" strips of each of the paper patterns I wanted to use. I then cut those into 1"x3" pieces which punched one end of with the Banner Triple Punch. Next, I used my bone folder to curl the paper "branch". Beginning at the bottom of the tree form I used Tombow Multi-purpose glue to attach the pieces, working my way up to the top.
The 6-sided star was created using the Star of Light Stamp Set and the Starlight Thinlits Dies. I stamped the star onto Whisper White cardstock using VersaMark ink and heat embossed Gold powder. Gold Baker's Twine is layered between the embossed & designer series paper stars. The star is glued to a short skewer which extends into the tree form.
Of course, there is a coordinating card! I love the heat embossed gold swoosh.
