Inking Everything's Happy Fall Blog Hop

My Fall inspiration came from the beautiful Color Me Autumn Designer Series Paper and the For All Things Stamp Set.



Our Takeout boxes are the perfect size to hold a special treat and they are food safe too! When stamping on the Natural 7/8" Cotton Ribbon just be careful to let the ink dry to prevent smudges  (you can help it along with the heat tool or set it by ironing on the backside)

Christmas card making is in full swing around here. Today, I bring you Get Your Santa On. 


Along with Santa and his suit, there is also a beautiful fireplace stamp in this set. I colored these cards with Stampin' Write Markers but you could also use Blendabilities or a Blender Pen with your Ink Pad.

Many Merry Stars

I am in love with the new Many Merry Stars Simply Created Kit!

This kit makes 26 stars in 6 sizes (from 2" to 15" in diameter). The Gold Glimmer Paper and Kraft, Cherry Cobbler, White, and Garden Green cardstock are so festive. These stars can be used for table-top or mantle decor, tree ornaments, AND I figured out how to transform them into gift boxes!


I cut the printed, self-adhesive die-cut side piece into 2 pieces, lengthwise. I did not cut it exactly in half so that the piece I attached to the top of the box is narrower than the piece on the bottom. From a piece of white cardboard that comes packaged with our Designer Series Paper, I cut strips to adhere to the inside of the bottom side. You want this cardboard to rest on the bottom of the box and extend above the side by 1/4"-1/2". Take care that it does not extend taller than your top side piece is. 

Tips: 
* Score the cardboard at the same measurement as the score marks on your side piece before you adhere it.
* Use the negative from the star punch-out as your template to trace onto Under the Tree Specialty Designer Series Paper or cardstock to create the box liners and cover up the adhesive tabs.
